I create minimalist wood turnings that reveal the natural beauty already present in each piece of salvaged, locally sourced wood. My work is guided by grain, form, and the quiet irregularities within the material—each turning a collaboration between hand and nature.
Nothing is wasted. Offcuts and remnants are reimagined as segmented bowls, ornaments, and small functional works, allowing even the smallest fragments to find new purpose and presence.
Whenever possible, I finish my pieces with renewable, eco-friendly oils and waxes, reserving polyurethane only for forms that require greater durability in daily use.
Though early in my practice, I strive to create work that feels restrained, honest, and enduring. Each piece invites you to slow down, to observe, and to connect with something both grounded and lasting.
